The Goals of Council PTA are to:

Unify and strengthen Local PTAs comprising this Council PTA;
Provide for the conference and cooperation of the Local PTAs in Council PTA membership so as to create a public opinion favorable to the interests of child welfare; to encourage child welfare projects in the various Local PTAs; and to assist in the formation of new Local PTAs according to the plan of the Texas PTA; and
Promote the interest and membership of the National PTA and of the Texas PTA within its territory that does not duplicate the work of Local PTAs.
